The Discovery Centre

Er.. They re-ordered the place.. ever since the last time we went.. which was like.. in RGPS i think.
The exhibits have changed :( how sad. i really miss the photo taking one at the entrance. it was quite funny :D all the kids used to stand there and take weird photos :D

Ooo AND THERE WAS SHARKS - 3d :D
i guess thats why we were supposed to make the 3d glasses in physics..
(though alot of ppl didnt make la.. including me :D)

the 3d glasses there are weird.. they are HUGE and feel weird.. they press against the forehead and itch.. *scratch* i kinda envy all those ppl with glasses, cuz the glasses keep the 3d specs away from the skin..
they told us not to touch the lenses.. I WONDER WHY O.O (had curiously poked lenses at least twice and then wiped it after that)

after the show - (which was pretty okay la.. considering that they had a turtle 'telling the story'.. and Oo FYI - Female reef sharks SOMETIMES die due to the injuries inflected upon them during sex. AHEM AHEM.. that makes ANOTHER animal besides the dolphin - which i mentioned in ms leow's class.. - and HUMANS :D )

they gave us a break! :D (the 209 ~ 213 classes)
and nearly EVERYONE went to buy food.. O.O
THE WAFFLES SMELLED NICE :D

after a few trials, alot of ppl bought HOT DOGS :D yum yum.
the souvenir shop display had cute tissue packets with the word "CHOPE" on it.. HAHA. so typically / uniquely singaporean =P

then there was the LONG AND BORING TOUR through the discovery centre.. haha
we met LITTLE GEORGE.. and huifei wanted to ask him - she asked alot of ppl to help her ask but no one did - why he sounded like a girl.. LOL.
then after that.. we went to the auditorium.. and saw "DISCOVERY RACE"
OH NO. IT SOUNDS BAD.

it was bad. and boring. we had to do the tasks in the order written on the ppt. luckily our first task was watching the bombing thing.. (which was quite funny - cuz the floor vibrated and everyone was sitting on the floor -- except delia and someone else.) then we had to fill in some stuff about the total defense thingy.. and then there was the HARDEST TASK - finding the 3 suspicious bags and writing down the codes..

haha. the first bag was pretty easy.. and the code was this WEIRD arrow thingy.. our group -esther, jinghui, kimberly, huifei and ME - initially thought the arrow pointed to where the next bag was cuz we couldnt find the bags, after thatb upstairs we found the 2nd bag - BUT WE DIDNT KNOW THAT THE EXHIBITION CONSISTED OF EVERYTHING. including the gateway = = YUCKS. so we only found 2

the 3rd task was just this ready bag thingy. oh well. we lost la :( but yeah.. w/e

Sungei Buloh and HDB tour

Haha. It was actually quite funny.. Mr de Souza wore this weird shirt and weird pants, and he had the marathon water bottle thingy that you fasten around your waist.. the one that my father has. AND HE LOOKED LIKE A FOREST RANGER.. LOL.

Overall i DONT like the trip. it was itchy.. all the mosquitoes kept HOVERING around steph, rachel, and samantha.. YUCKS. and there were LOADS of BIG BIG WEBBIES WITH BIG BIG SPIDERS.. O.O the spiders were HUGE..

there was this one WEIRD plant that supposedly got read of all the salt in the water - which i suppose is bad for their digestive thingy - by making salty leaves.. O.O wow.

AFTER sungei buloh, delia, Jaime, and I went back to class to change into our culottes :D
then we went to SHAW - cuz far east was probably CRAWLING with RGS girls.
met LQ on the bus and decided to invite her along since she was so loner there.
wanted to eat pastamania's BANANA DESERT PIZZA :D but they didnt have any there.., URGHH I CRAVE THEM! ate mc donalds instead.. :( and got too full to buy my milkshake *HORROR* after that we just like walked around far east - cuz delia and jaime were still eating and they were REALLY QUIET.. :(

went back to class - watched some ppl - mainly grace, wenyuan, deenie, lidan and more more more ppl. poor grace kept being the monkey :( we just kept screaming and screaming haha.. then the ball got THROWN to the top of the white board and we had to climb up to get it, i forgot who but someone poked it with a stick while deenie climbed up the teacher's table and pulled it by the cellophane.

listened to music and stoned and emoed while on the bus on HDB tours, sat alone which was quite okay la, considering i was in the - I AM EMO - mood. - same as i was at sungei buloh : i think delia KINDA noticed on the bus, which was why she offered to play this WEIRD chinese game where she says something and i have to say it backwards but in tune with this weird clapping thingy - there was this OPTIONAL get off the bus thing and tiong bahru there, but since nearly everyone got off, i got off too.. only rachel stayed in the bus.. haha. smart girl.

then we passed by bukit merah - which happens to be filled with all those dirty old chee ko peks. i rmb the last time i went there, i took bus, then this weirdo sitting infront of me kept turning and LEERING down at my shorts which i ATTEMPTED covering with my bag.. YUCKS. thinking about it makes me shiver liao. -

then we stopped at toa payoh and had this long long tour thing.
they had the HDB flat showrooms.. the rooms are TINY.. not even big enough for tables and stuffs.. if i EVER live in a HDB i THINK i would need a separate room for studying / putting rubbish.. separate from the room which i have to sleep in la. the guy also said that flats in bishan area supposedly cost like 500,000 now.. WOW.. THINK ABOUT THAT LING O.O

we stopped at the HDB hub and had a break, and nearly everyone went to macs, except some ppl who went to old chang kee i think.. judging by the yellow bags i saw. YAY I FINALLY BOUGHT MY DARLING STRAWBERRY MILKSHAKE :D and stole fries from delia.. KEKE. sighted alot of mc flurrys and cones.. which alot of us bought.. - really miss the mint choc mc flurrys they had last time, and the MANGO COATED CONES IN HONG KONG :D cant wait to eat them in june when i get back! :D - i'm probably gonna gain like - 5 kg or something.. = =
