TODAY DEBATE WAS REALLY FUN! xD
our motion was :
THBT that size zero models should NOT be allowed on the runway.
and i was in the OPP team.. which is FREAKIN HARD :(

and joey from the prop team was really funny.. cuz she was the 3rd speaker, and i was the 1st, and the 3rd speaker was supposed to like.. rebutt everything.. so she was rebutting one of my points on models putting alot of effort and time into their careers, so if we kick them out, it would be rather unfair.

joey: when the opposition says "........", but are our careers more important than our health?
gloria: POINT OF INFORMATION MA'AM! :D we have proposed a solution that can be implemented to keep the models HEALTHY :D

AFTER debate we had a nice friend chat :D about our coach DANIEL xD
and we were like talking about the weird stuff he says.. (more like shimin was telling us, ruth was interrupting, and we were LAUGHING :D)

according to shimin,
coach daniel once said that in debate, even if we are talking crap, we have to do it with a straight face, and he demoed using this funny speech about PIGS CAN FLY which shimin proceeded to demonstrate..

shimin pretending to be coach : PIGS CAN FLY! they have holes in their skin! and air goes through these holes and create a kind of uplift which allows the pigs to fly! (howls with laughter while shimin says it with a perfectly straight face and a matter-of-fact tone)
