and something that looks remotely like light blue.

OH YEAH! I GOT A PHONE! FINALLY!
as in.
one that can store stuff, have MORE than 30 smses, take photos, have alarms, and listen to music, in comparison to my moms old phone.
EVEN THOUGH. my moms old phone is freakin small and cuteeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :D

URGHH xD. when they announced the overall champion thingy.. and we (the house commers squating obscenely in the field) heard that tarbet was 5th (SORRY!!), we were like freakin happy la.. cuz.. BE HAPPY WE ARNT LAST! ^^ <-- quotes nana.

deenie, jaslyn, yihhui, jieru, 3 203 girls, and I were in charge of the 2nd station -

haha. wenyuan, delia, and huifei wernt here. and jaslyn was LOST. (at first)
haha. but nvm! I
T WAS PRETTY FUN AFTER AWHILE.
poor wenyuan was ill - i hope she feels MUCH MUCH MUCH BETTER :D (abit late to wish this hor, but nvm! :D)
delia was attending a funeral or something liddat - poor darling Oo.
isit possible to not register that someone is dead? well.. when my favourite aunt died.. and we tried to tell my cousin.. (she was like 2 or something) and she just blinked and asked when her mother would be back.. (which resulted in my uncle crying or something. and now shes like.. p1? and she still thinks her mom is like overseas at school or something.. D:

we keep trying to explain that her mom is dead like her pet fish. but she INSISTS that..
1. her pet fish is ALIVE and is just sleeping
2. her mommy is alive.
er. PAUSE. i shall go get tissues. cant help crying whenever i think about it. it was REALLY sad. for us la.
cuz shes like this really big saint in our (my family) lives. and shes (was) like a second mom to me. and she tried REALLY REALLY hard to combat it (death) and i really really really miss her. i guess my cousin is really lucky / unlucky. lucky - cuz she cant rmb her mom. so she wont get TOO sad. unlucky - ALSO cuz she cant rmb her mom..

huifei was at OM. AGAIN. anyways. after like AWHILE. we kinda became more spontaneous. (except for jaslyn. she was spontaneous ALREADY) and jieru and yihhui stopped using the script after awhile. we split into groups.
1. jaslyn & deenie
2. yihhui, jieru, & I
3. the 203 girls

jaslyn was really active. haha. she even followed the people there all the way up the hill and down the hill just to explain.
the 203 girls were really cute. cuz we only had 2 posters. so they had to talk to the visitors. but they did REALLY WELL

jieru helped us hold the poster while we talked.. but YAY~ after awhile yihhui did really well! xD - her "speech" was kinda the same as mine so whenever i encountered a chinese speaking person - which was only once, she would take over, and i would go back and finish up for her. - with ease :D

OOOH I FORGOT TO MENTION. there was this two old men. haha. they only spoke dialect. and we ALL crowded there cuz.. i mean.. he was the first guy who spoke dialect and didnt really understand chinese. - actually his friend was saying that we could use english but he waved his friend off.
i betcha he was trying to test us.

so at first jaslyn spoke ABIT of hokkien with them. but theres only so far you can go with those short hokkien phrases right?
so deenie took over.. with her home learned cantonese..
xD YAYYY! and i finally managed to do something right -
haha. so me and deenie both spoke to the old guy la.. but i was speaking simple cantonese.. i probably sounded like a 2 yr old to the guy..

its not MY fault my cantonese isnt chim..
xD jaslyn was really cute though. she gave me and deenie the WIDE EYED LOOK - like OMG THEY ARE SPEAKING SO CHIM.

:D i think the guai lohs - as we would say - or the ang mohs. are really cute / nice.
there was this ang mo guy who like bought a WHOLE HANDFUL of badges.. and according to the people at the 4th station, some people bought like ONE badge but gave like $10 and told them to keep the change.
i wouldnt be surprised if they were ang mos O.O

at the end of it all, ming hao and i KINDA went home together. i could take 961 home la.. but we decided to take 173 together to clementi mrt xD
then we parted at redhill and i went to eat lunch.

okay. i shant embarrass my lunch partner :D

after lunch i dropped somewhere and bought SOMETHING - not to be mentioned incase she reads my blog - for rika chan

i mean its OKAY la.
but its REALLY REALLY high waisted.

GAH. and it squishes my stomach if i wear it (correction on 8/4/08 - after trying it, i discovered that there was too much space. so much for squishing my stomach) and eat after that.
so i didnt buy one for myself.
