for many many reasons.

1. while playing wii, i kinda scratched myself and it stings! / stung when i was bathing!
2. the outlet downstairs was closed D: for some stupid fight or something so i couldnt buy a present for my cousin.
3. i am thinking of ystd (will elaborate later)
4. my dad is whining that i scratched him = =
5. dinner was really bad. i ♥ eggplants but not with sweet chilli sauce!
YESTERDAY - U 14s debate competition

I HATE SJI.
they are dam loser la. NO SPORTSMANSHIP O:
there's this rule in the competition that no one is allowed to speak with reserves.. but hor. it's kinda like an unwritten rule that it doesn't really apply to sec 2s.. cuz no one really cares.. cuz its usually their first debate, so coach points out impt points..

like i mean, HCI DIDNT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT US - -
and then. the rule ++ says that AFTER warning is given, teams can be disqualified if they fan cuo again. the point here is AGAIN

SO YEAH. and after being warned by this particularly grumpy timekeeper - in the second round against SJI, marcus shut up la. THEN STUPID SJI BU FU QI we win! THEN THEY GO APPEAL TO THE JUDGES. URGHH.

1st debate - RGS vs HCI
2nd debate - SJI vs RGS
3rd (impromptu) - RGS vs UWC

SO ANYWAYS.
HCI won. but nvm.
Janne was REALLY nervous. like NERVOUS BREAKDOWN kind. :O poor girl.
haha. Zi en and I were 'floating'

at first there was a mistake, they wrote ACS(I) TWICE.
haha.
so at first it was RGS vs ACS(I).
ends up we were with HCI.

P.S. li ki and max came in halfway and charla started swwwooooning LOL. she REFUSES to admit she crush them both!!! HAHA. and mr toh doesnt understand why she crushes both of them HAHA. then we were talking alot about it in the LT3 with mr toh on one side, and when we turned to look at him, he was like "i get this alot, dont worry" HHAAAAHAAAA. we started discussing how ugly CERTAIN people were, as well as JIAYING's CRUSH ON INDIANA JONES.

(there was another joke about jiaying and ELDER MEN *cough* but i shant write it incase SOME DISCUSSED PERSONNEL CROSS MY BLOG ;D)

after the debate ended, and we went back to LT3. very sad lorh. everyone had such high hopes ++ it was our first professional debate. so somehow or other i started crying. then zi en started crying. and we were like hugging and crying. then joey / ni qian / everyone else suddenly pop up and " ARE YOU OKAY??? " and mr toh came over and "BANNED" us from crying LOL.

URGHH. this is the part that makes my blood boil.
SJI's first speaker was - according to marcus - super lan. she had NO IDEA what she was saying.
p.s. now i realize that aside from his 'EVIL EYE' glare, marcus is actually really nice O.O
(marcus whispered the super lan thing to me and zi en la)
then after that the time keeper gave us the GLARE. LOL. so marcus shut up.
and etc. the debate proceeded.

URGHH. then when the judge announced.. he said at first.

judge : THE PROPOSITION WINS.
zi en / gloria / janne / jia ying / rashvin / everybody in RGS : *SHOCK AND SAD ABOUT LOSING TWICE*
SJI : WOOOOOOO YEAHHH
judge : OOPS. i mean. OPPOSITION WINS.

then after that tears of joy came out :D
and mr toh 'scolded' us for crying again LOL.
but quite happy la.

then we went for impromptu LUNCH FIRST! :D
there was packet lunch.. quite gross.. this greenish curry thing.. YUCKS. i ate the potato thing. you know? whenever the school orders pack lunch, they always have that malay potato cake thingy? yeah ;D

ALOT OF PEOPLE from other schools were buying cup noodle.. OOOSH. then jia ying randomly stated that she liked cup noodles alot. so UN-typically jia ying. i think the debate was really getting to her. and marcus suddenly bought us HELLO PANDA biscuits. HAHA. he thought the MILK one was CHOCOLATE. :O how deprived he must be (he not knowing shows that he doesnt eat it.) and he bought ice cream Oo. how surprising. and how suddenly UN-marcus. scared us quite abit.. why suddenly so nice buy us biscuits.

went to 7-eleven to buy gulp but they ran outta cups :O (as well as to get zi en a plastic bag for her rice thing cuz the big one we got made her rice look like some christmas present package - so big.) banged into the HCI people there who gave us WEIRD glances. i think. (should be shaun and zi en exchanging glances) ended up buying vitasoy :D as well as zi en / jia ying / janne pao qi-ing me suddenly, and gloria changing to flopping indignant chicken mode. LOL.

after the impromptu (which i will cope from janne)

the loss to UWC was insanely close and crucial and embarrassing. I did such a screwedup job for the prepared debates, and I can't believe I still had to do the impromptu one. I STUTTER AND MY REBUTTALS ARE TERRIBLE AND I CANNOT IDENTIFY POINTS THAT THE OTHER TEAM IS MAKING etc etc. I don't get it, why do people make me do this when it's so obvious that I'm not good enough? I don't think I'll ever get to do this again, anyway. I can't take it and Marcus and Mr Toh (probably) know I can't. Thinking about it makes me want to cry.

i totally disagree with some parts. the debate was INSANELY CLOSE like all the other debates we had (the HCI and SJI ones - supposedly we scored INSANELY high marks - but the other team got like 1 or 2 points less / more)

but janne DID NOT screw up.. OKAY LA. she stuttered. BIG DEAL. the judge said it didnt matter :D SO NICE. :P POOR THING. marcus made the 3 of them do ALL 3 debates. HA. talk about me and zi en being STRESS FREE :D

JANNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. if you're reading this. HAHA. i think you're really good :D (you're the only one out of all of us who has something close to an accent, except for rashvin la.) don't worry. like mr toh says, we just need practice.. (and like marcus says, we probably will never get any good practice unless we debate against HIM la.. which we will probably shrivel and cower throughout - plus he'd probably beat us ALL single handedly without even drinking water / peeing (which is what he seems to be doing half the time we were prepping that day) so we'd probably never get any practice since he always wins.)

AFTER the impromptu one, which we obviously lost. joey JUST HAD TO (no la.. just that she see us all so indignant liao.. then scared marcus break to us, and with his bo chap like attitude, we'd probably start crying. so she told us about the SJI thing. supposedly the SJI coach appealed while we were prepping..

OOOOFF. i forgot to add. HAHA. after they released the motion, marcus reminded us we only had 1 hour including walking time and stuff. so we sprinted outta the room ALL THE WAY to the prep room (which was on bloody 5th floor) but nvm.. the opp has to go to 6th floor! *jumping with evil glee*

URGHH. ITS SO NOT FAIR.

JUST BECAUSE SJI FEELS INDIGNANT THAT WE WON DOESN'T MEAN THAT THEY CAN GO REPORT US. IT'S A SPORTSMANSHIP THING. AND PLUS MARCUS TOLD US THAT NOTHING LIKE THAT HAD HAPPENED BEFORE, PLUS THE FACT THAT WE WERE RGS SO ALOT OF SCHOOL POLITICS WERE BROUGHT IN, AND PLUS THE FACT THAT THE MARGIN OF MARKS WERE REALLY SMALL, SO THEY DRAWED US. URGH!!! - so i guess this clarififys what i said in the front part. haha

QIAN BIAN LA STUPID SJI. agree with rashvin that they are very sloppy and very pai kia, even compared to marcus. HAHA. jkjk!! marcus is an intellectual pai kia law student.

in conclusion. SERVES YOU RIGHT STUPID SJI THAT YOU DIDNT MAKE IT INTO QUARTER FINALS :P BOOOOO - darn it. i'm being immature (like jia ying says) again... [refrence made to the point when we all left the RJC compound, and someone POINTED out that there was a group of SJI guys across the road, gloria stamped very hard on a drain thingy and it bonked very loudly.. shocking everyone except jia ying, who totally missed it. probably was swooning over indiana jones look-alikes. lol.]

and yay! tomorrow its HCI vs RI and (like janne says) the cute little gay guy is speaking! (though alot of ppl say hes taller than shown on TV)
