yourspurpley; preview of forever lasts 17 days Yesterday, tomorrow, just not today. It was Elise's fifth day waiting, and now that she had run out of pennies, there would be no more cups of that bitter instant coffee that you find in hospitals to help her soothe her loneliness. It didn't help one bit that the hallway was dark, cold, and deserted. The only people passing by were sympathetic nurses who offered her neon bright tasteless lollipops that were usually left for little children, for lack of anything that they knew might comfort a teenager. Crouching down, the door was cool against her ears, firm behind her head, and thick in her heart. After more than a hundred hours of waiting in front of that same door, it was difficult for Elise to believe that there was somebody she cared about behind that door, when all she had been doing was waiting to confirm it with a single glance. Don't tell me today, tell me yesterday, tell me tomorrow, but please, don't tell me today. The news always sounds worst today, simply because it wasn't told tomorrow. BORING ENDING :O but i didn't know how else to end. plus i was just super boredddddd. yours forever xiiao deathie Labels: story, yourspurpley |
